The major deliverable of this project is the book 'Introduced tree species in European forests: challenges and opportunities'. This publicaion is a compilation of chapters exploring various aspects of introduced tree species in the context of European forests. Individual chapters are written by experts from academia as well as practice in order to present aspects based on research as well practical experience, respectively.
The book is 'open-access' and freely available. Individual contributions are written in a comprehensive way since the publication is aimed at a wide range of audience; i.e. politicians and decision makers, academics, practitioners, students as well as enthusiasts from e.g. forestry, nature conservation and ecology but also social science, tourism, etc.
